Requirement:

Provide VMI service for their factory in China without any cost adders or production disruptions. 

Solution:

Created a local warehouse near their factory in China where inventory was housed and able to be delivered on a same day basis. Forecasts and Inventory were monitored on a daily basis and inventory updated accordingly to ensure that no production line disruptions nor any excess inventory situations occurred.

Requirement:

Eliminate the time and errors associated with manually communicating with distributor partners and strategic customers

Solution:

Implemented world class EDI and other electronic solutions to allow direct communication between supplier and distributor/customer. Implemented business rules to handle >95% of the transactions and communications automatically and kicked out exceptions that were to be handled manually. Within one year, turned around negative relationships and led to a large number of supplier of the year awards from customers
